Book Report - City of Glass

Title: City of Glass
Authour: Cassandra Clare
Length: 541 pages
How long it took me to read: 4 days
Grade: A+

What it's about: To save her mother's life, Clary must travel to the City of Glass, the ancestral home of the Shadowhunters - never mind that entering the city without permission is against the Law, and breaking the Law could mean death. To make things worse, she learns that Jace does not want her there, and Simon has been thrown in prison by the Shadowhunters, who are deeply suspicious of a vampire who can withstand sunlight.

As Clary uncovers more about her family's past, she finds an ally in mysterious Shadowhunter Sebastian. With Valentine mustering the full force of his power to destroy all Shadowhunters forever, their only chance to defeat him is to fight alongside their eternal enemies. But can Downworlders and Shadowhunters put aside their hatred to work together? While Jace realizes exactly how much he's willing to risk for Clary, can she harness her newfound powers to help save the Glass City - whatever the cost?

The ending is the most important part: Yes!! Finally!! The ending was so perfect.

Last word: I know that there are more books, but this seems to be the perfect ending to an awesome trilogy.

Spoilers after the jump

Yes, yes, YES! Finally!! This is the best book in the series by far!

Finally, Clary and Jace are not brother and sister! Now I have to re-read the first two books so that I can enjoy their relationship.

Finally, Jocelyn speaks and we get to find out everything! We also get to see Clary's relationship with her mom, and how great it is. We've been hearing all these things about Jocelyn, but now we get to see here in real life and she's so great.

I know that there are three more books, but City of Glass had such a perfect ending, I feel like this should be the end of the series. I'm very curious to see what comes next!
